It takes many months of planning to execute a large conference like the 2017 Georgia Dairy Conference.
This year we hosted close to 80 vendors, 43 dairy science students from six different southeastern universities, a dairy wives social, 400 attendees and a live auction to for the GA Dairy Youth Foundation!
Many attendees praised staff for an outstanding conference saying it was the "best one yet" or "a well organized, smooth event"! The success of the conference is definitely owed to those working tirelessly in the background!
Georgia Milk Producers would like to thank Kellay Watson for her hard work in facilitating registration (guest and exhibitor) for the conference. This is not an easy task, but Kellay handled it with determination and grace. We are so fortunate to have you as part of our team.
Also, Whitney Dixon served as our Communications Intern this year. It was such a pleasure to meet and work with Whitney, an Ag Communications Senior from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! Whitney will graduate this May and will quickly become a huge asset to her future employer.
Also, special thanks to Peggy Gates, Carol Williams and Nicole Karstedt for assisting with registration (and many other things) when needed!
It's such an honor to work with the "Ladies of GDC". Next year will be even better!!
