GDC Sponsor Update - We Are ONE Week Away!!


We are making last minute preparations and look forward to seeing you next week in Savannah! Here are a few updates for our sponsors and vendors:

  • The hotel no longer provides tablecloths for exhibitor tables

  • If you need electricity and have not asked for it, please email us ASAP

  • We are still accepting donations for the GDYF auction, if you have an item to contribute, please email us ASAP

  • Tables will be marked with signs for companies participating in the SE Dairy Student Symposium. Please be at your booth by 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20. If you would like to participate and have not requested it, email us ASAP

  • A map of the exhibit hall will be emailed to all sponsors on Friday

  • Exhibit Hall WIFI Pass code is: DAIRY2020

MLK Celebration Parade on Mon. January 20 :  For guest and dairymen arriving to Savannah on Monday morning: Please be aware of the 2020 MLK Holiday Parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m.      Click here for the parade route and map. It will last for at least one or two hours (300+ floats)


Continuing Education Hours :  Certified waste operators can receive one (1) continuing education credit (CEU) hour during the Georgia Dairy Conference. To obtain your attendance certificate, you must attend Dr. Deanne Meyer’s presentation, titled “Managing Dairy Manure in the Central Valley of California” on Tuesday, January 21 at 8:00 a.m. Veterinary (5 hours) and ARPAS (10 hours) CEUs are also available for those interested, registration for these CEUs will be available at the GDC registration desk.


Parking at the Savannah Riverfront Marriott :  Parking at the Savannah Riverfront Marriott has been reduced to $8 per day for those attending the Georgia Conference.


No shuttle service is available from the Savannah-Hilton Head Airport to the Savannah Riverfront Marriott . All attendees will need to take a taxi or uber to the hotel (10 minute ride).


Package Storage, Delivery and Shipping Services

All incoming packages should be specifically labeled and addressed to the Exhibitor or guest receiving package and marked with the name and date of your meeting. Because there is limited storage space, boxes can be accepted no more than three (3) working days prior to your meeting. Storage fees will apply if packages arrive prior to the 72 hour grace period or are left more than 72 hours following the conclusion of your function. Any items remaining after one week will be discarded. Delivery and/or shipping charges will also apply for all group related packages. Exhibitors will be charged directly for any applicable storage, delivery or shipping fees and are responsible for providing a method of payment.
